A young woman came off the lane with her car on Monday night, crashed into the guardrails and came to a stop in the middle of the road. Another 16 people were injured in the accident on the Autobahn 43 near Bochum.
The woman was lifeless on the hard shoulder when the emergency services arrived and was already being cared for by first responders. She died in hospital on Monday morning. According to information from the newspaper »Bild«, she had been on her way back from a wedding celebration.
