Social media was abuzz with anger after the Giza governorate announced the seizure of an unlicensed factory to produce tahini from materials of unknown origin. In Algeria, the National Gendarmerie seized a slaughterhouse for donkeys and mules in the village of Ain Allam in the northeastern wilaya of El Tarf.
The owner could be sentenced to imprisonment for a period of not less than a year and a fine of not more than 5,20 pounds and not exceeding <><> pounds.
