A truck driver in Kinding in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt chose a bad secret route. The detour seemed too long for him, so he steered his 7.5-ton truck onto a bicycle bridge.

After that, however, he couldn't get any further: he ended up in a dead end. While driving on the shoulder, the vehicle sank so deeply into the mud that it had to be pulled out by a special vehicle in a complex and time-consuming rescue.
