Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Masry residential tower located in the center of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Residents were forced to leave less than 20 minutes before it was bombed, after receiving a warning that it would be bombed.

The Israeli bombing destroyed large parts of the 12-story tower and about 80 residential apartments. Residents who spent the night on the streets are now homeless. The attack was carried out by the Israeli Air Force and the Israel Defense Forces.
