The Tibetan New Year falls on the same day as the Spring Festival, and Tibet ushered in twice as much excitement on the 10th. People bring young people to support the elderly, carry khatas, and hold butter in their hands, and go to the Jokhang Temple to worship and pray for their families and all living beings.
All monks and firefighters in the temple were mobilized to guide the people and maintain order. Large shopping malls in Lhasa are also open to welcome customers, and people are shopping to enjoy the New Year holiday.
