Ride sharing services approved in 8 new regions’ Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Services will begin next month in some areas of four prefectures, including Tokyo, only on days of the week and at times determined by each region.
These are the Osaka City Transportation Area, which includes Osaka City, the Kobe City Transportation area, and the Hiroshima Transportation Area. It is expected that the service will be available in these areas from May onwards, if taxi companies are willing.
