The investigation was discontinued on December 7, 2023, the public prosecutor's office announced on Monday. Sufficient suspicion could not be substantiated, the authority said. A chat group with right-wing extremist content was uncovered within the district. The author, a 54-year-old man from Berlin, was sentenced to five years and ten months in prison in 2022.
