“Lack of classrooms” in over 3,300 special needs schools, disrupting classes. There has been an increase of 351 classrooms since the previous survey in 2021.
Of these, 2,668 classrooms are disrupting classes and require maintenance. 30% of schools did not meet the requirements for school buildings and 50% for playgrounds. Starting this year, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is strengthening its support by increasing the subsidy rate for school building renovation costs.
