Al Jazeera's camera monitored massive destruction in the areas surrounding the Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City. The violent Israeli bombing left a number of martyrs and wounded who were unable to be reached by medical teams.
Continuous clashes were clearly heard between the occupation army and the Palestinian resistance in the southern and northern areas of the medical complex, in parallel with continuous artillery shelling and rising columns of smoke. The occupation aircraft launched violent raids on citizens' homes, destroying some of them. They also blew up large buildings and burned residential apartments, in addition to arresting a numberof men and forcing women to move south.
