"Sapporo Snow Festival" will be held for eight days. Around 200 snow and ice sculptures of all sizes will be on display.
The festival is in memory of those who died in the Second World War. The first day of the festival was held on December 4th in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the first time in four years that the festival has been held in the city of Sapporo. The event is open to the public, and is free to attend, but donations are welcome.
