Volkswagen is investing three billion euros in Brazil. The group will introduce 16 new models by 2028.

These include hybrid and electric vehicles. With a market share of 15.8 percent, Volkswagen do Brasil is second only to Fiat in the South American country. The VW Polo was the best-selling car in Brazil in 2023. The company increased its sales in Brazil last year by 29.5 percent to 345,039 vehicles. The new models include a pickup truck and a fully Brazilian vehicle.
