Ver.di is calling for warning strikes in public transport on Friday in almost all federal states. More than 130 municipal companies in cities and districts as well as a total of 90,000 employees are affected by the collective bargaining round.
During the first round of negotiations last week, no solution was reached in any region. In Brandenburg, Ver.di wants to get 20 percent, or at least 650 euros, more for local transport employees. The term of the collective agreement should be twelve months.
