Ver.di union ends strike at Lufthansa – but flight cancellations continue. Around 7,000 people took part in the warning strikes at the Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Berlin locations.
The union is demanding 12.5 percent more salary, but at least 500 euros per month for a term of one year. There will also be a group-wide inflation bonus of 3,000 euros. Lufhansa has offered 13 percent more money and an inflation bonus for three years.
