Two major airline companies' financial results for the nine months ending December of last year: Increased sales and profits compared to the same period last year. Japan Airlines had sales of 1,249.3 billion yen and a final profit of 85.8 billion yen.

This is an increase of over 5.2 times from the previous year. ANA Holdings' sales were 1,543.5 billion yen, and final profit was 148.9 billion yen,. There is also a trend toward lower unit prices on North American routes.
