The third shale oil platform at Yingxiongling in Qinghai Oilfield started drilling smoothly. Qaidam Basin is an important oil production and gas supply base for the four provinces (regions) of Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu, and Ningxia.
The launch of this project is also the first time that large-scale shale oil development has been launched on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. In 2023, the Yingye 2H platform will be put into use.
