[HIGHLIGHTS] The runner of the first unit of the Yellow River Yangqu Hydropower Station was successfully hoisted

Yangqu Hydropower Station is located at the junction of Xinghai County and Guinan County in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The power station is equipped with three 400,000-kilowatt Francis turbine generator units with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts.

The station is an important supporting peak-shaving power supply for China's first ±800 kV "Qingyu DC" ultra-high voltage transmission channel.
