[HIGHLIGHTS] The purchase restriction policy in Tongzhou’s property market is expected to be optimized, and families who have settled or are employed will no longer have “double restrictions”

Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission and the Tongzhou District Government announced on February 6 that from now on, four types of families in Beijing who are qualified to purchase a house can purchase a set of commercial housing. The biggest change in the new policy is that for families who have settled and worked in Tongzhou, the three-year requirement for settlement, social security or tax payment has been cancelled.

Since this is the country's first purchase restriction measure targeting local areas of a municipality, it is called "the most stringent purchase restriction in history" in the industry.
