The IMF raises its forecast for the world economy in 2024 with improvement in the US and Russia. But it lowers that of Spain and the Eurozone.

The Monetary Fund foresees an average growth of 1.7% in 2025. In 2024, it expects Spain (1.1%) - again above France (1%) and Italy (1%). At the same time, the IMF points out that general improvement in forecasts is modest because the forecasts for 2024 and 2025 are lower than the historical average of 3.8%.
