IG Metall wants to postpone the planned election of employee representatives at Tesla near Berlin. The union says it supports an election in principle, but sees problematic time pressure because production is suspended until February 11th.
According to the union, at least 11,500 employees work at the Tesla factory in Grünheide. The election will take place from March 18th to 20th, according to the IG Metall. The deadline for the election is February 15th, but the union has applied for an interim injunction.
