Seven Japanese automakers' global sales in January exceeded the same month last year. Domestic sales last month decreased by 13.7% for Toyota, whose cars are supplied by Daihatsu.
This is the first time in 13 months that Toyota's domestic sales have fallen below the previous year's level. Ta. I did. suspended domestic shipments due to issues with fraudulent acquisition of national certification, resulting in a 31.5% drop from the same week last year, according to the automaker.
