The Russian Ministry of Finance said that the federal budget deficit in January tentatively amounted to 308 billion rubles. Preliminarily, the volume of federal budget expenditures at the end of January 2024 amounted to 2.704 trillion rubles, which is 13.2% lower than the level of the increased comparison base of the previous year.
The volume of the liquid part of the National Welfare Fund as of February 1 amounted to 4.9 trillion Rubles. The Russian government is expected to release its budget for the year 2015 on February 1.
