Ride sharing business to start in 5 new cities and towns, taking advantage of government system expansion. Until now, ride-sharing had been allowed in depopulated areas where it was difficult to secure a means of transportation.

In Beppu City, while the number of tourists from Japan and abroad is increasing, there is a shortage of taxi and bus drivers. The plan is to start business in areas where fares are less than 80% of taxi fares. The businesses will start in BeppU City, Oita Prefecture, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture and Takamori Town, Kumamoto Prefecture.
