EDF calls on the EPR2 project to be completed within the set deadlines. The first phase of the project is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
The second phase will include the construction of a second reactor. The third phase will be a new reactor to be built in the middle of the next decade. The fourth and final stage will be the creation of a new nuclear power station. The final stage of the plan is to build a new power station in the south of France.
