RBC: the ruble has become the main currency in Russia’s payments for exports to Europe and Asia. In 2023, 39% of payments for the export of goods and services were made in Russian currency.
In addition, payments for Russian exports are also carried out in dollars and euros. Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the share of national currencies in mutual settlements between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union is 90%. The remaining 29.4% of Payments are made in the currencies of countries friendly to Russia.
