Fujian: Strive to add more than 1,000 new specialized and special enterprises this year. China's State Council Information Office held a series of press conferences on the theme of "Promoting High-Quality Development" in Beijing.

Zhao Long, deputy secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and governor of Fujian, said at the meeting that Fujian will speed up the cultivation of specialized new enterprises. This year's goal is to increase social R&D investment by more than 18% and have the number of national high-tech enterprises exceed 13,000.
