On the first day of the Lunar New Year, cross-regional personnel movements in China exceeded 190 million. Among them, railway passenger volume was 5.565 million, an increase of 100.7% over the same period in 2023.
The number of highway personnel movements was 186.43 million. Xinjiang's highway and railway departments have increased transport capacity and improved services to ensure smooth travel for passengers. This year is the first Spring Festival after the Hainan Island Tourist Highway was opened to traffic.
