Nissan aims to increase global sales by 1 million units by 2026. The annual sales volume will be increased from the current 3 million units to 4 million units per year.

Of the new vehicles, 16 are electric vehicles (EVs), such as electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, and 14 are engine vehicles. Nissan signed a memorandum of understanding with Honda this month for a comprehensive collaboration, and has said it will consider new collaboration partners in Japan and the U.S. The company aims to reduce manufacturing costs by 30% through technological innovations in batteries.
