Nine departments including the Ministry of Commerce issued notices to make recycling of used household appliances and furniture more standardized and convenient. The "Notice" gives clear goals: by 2025, build a number of typical cities nationwide with recycling systems.
Data show that in 2023, the number of major categories of home appliances in my country will exceed 3 billion units. Every 100 residents will have more than 100 air conditioners, refrigerators, and TVs. There is great demand and potential for replacement in China.
