Borrell reiterated his warnings, his apprehensions, against an offensive on Rafah by the Israeli army due to the humanitarian consequences. Tzipi Livni, who is in opposition today to the Netanyahu government, former Israeli foreign minister, stressed that she supported the Israeli offensive because of the threat that Hamas posed.
