Domestic tourist arrivals during the Spring Festival holiday reached 474 million. Domestic tourists spent a total of 632.687 billion yuan on travel.

Southern destinations such as Guangdong, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hunan, and Guizhou are highly popular. Red tourism has become a new highlight of Spring Festival travel. Scenic spots such as the First Memorial Hall of the Communist Party of China, Xibaipo Memorial Hall, Zhou Enlai’s former residence in Jiangsu, and Gutian Tourist Area received 632,000 tourists during Spring Festival.
