Miele is likely to cut 2,000 jobs worldwide, according to a media report. Last year, Miele's sales rose more than ever before in the group's 125-year history.
Around 5,600 people work in the company's Gütersloh factory. In 2022, sales rose by 12.2 percent to 5.43 billion euros, more than before in company's history. The group has around 23,000 employees worldwide, around half of them in Germany.
