Mediation Committee: Coalition and CDU agree on tax relief for companies. Negotiators from the traffic light coalition and the CDU have agreed on key points of the Growth Opportunities Act.
However, the Union is still calling for farmers to receive further relief from the agricultural diesel subsidy. The Mediation Committee of the Bundestag and Bundesrat is scheduled to deal with the Growth opportunities Act on February 21st. The compromise could be formally approved at the committee's meeting on February 22nd.
