Lottery sales in China will increase by 36.5% year-on-year in 2023. From January to December 2023, a total of 579.696 billion yuan in lottery tickets were sold nationwide.
Compared with the same period in 2022, lottery sales have increased in all provinces across the country. Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Sichuan have experienced larger increases. The Ministry of Finance requires lottery agencies to closely track and analyze new situations and new issues.
