Keidanren and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry meet and agree to promote sustainable wage increases through public-private partnership. The meeting was held in Tokyo on the 5th, with approximately 40 people in attendance, including Keidanren Chairman Tokura and other executives.
The two parties agreed to promote public- private partnerships to make investments that will strengthen the competitiveness of companies. In addition, the meeting confirmed the importance of promoting price pass-through, including on personnel costs, to raise wages for small and medium-sized enterprises.
