Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is once again the richest man in the world. Tesla boss Elon Musk was behind with $198 billion.
The third richest person is the head of the French luxury goods group LVMH, Bernard Arnault, with a fortune of $197 billion. Arnault had also topped the rich ranking for a while, but was replaced by Musk in May 2023. The latest wealth growth resulted primarily from the positive development of Amazon's share price. Musk's fortune had recently decreased by around $30 billion due to a fall in Tesla's share prices.
