Israeli army leaves al-Chifa hospital in Gaza on April 1, 2024. Palestinians say Israeli soldiers left many dead behind.
According to the Gaza Minister of Health, under Hamas control, dozens of bodies were discovered inside the hospital after the departure of Israeli forces. Israeli police also announced that they had arrested the sister of Hamas leader Ismaïl Haniyeh in Israel where she lives. She is suspected of “having contacts with Hamas agents and identifying with the organization, while inciting and supporting acts of terrorism in Israel”
