In the first two months, profits of China's industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 10.2% year-on-year. Profits turned from a 2.3% decline in the previous year to positive growth.
Broken down by category, profits from the manufacturing, electricity, heating, gas and water production and supply industries all achieved double-digit growth. The data also shows that the vitality of various business entities and enterprises of different sizes continues to increase, the National Bureau of Statistics said.
