Hainan will improve and enhance transportation in the Qiongzhou Strait from six aspects. The first is to speed up the filling of shortcomings in port and channel infrastructure.
It is planned to build four large ships in the near future, including two small car-specific ships and two truck-type ships, which are expected to be put into use by the end of 2026. The "make a reservation to cross the sea and enter the port with a ticket" system is strictly implemented.
