The CAC40 index of the French Paris stock market exceeded 8,000 points for the first time on the 7th local time, setting a record high. Analysts generally believe that the Eurozone inflation forecast released by the European Central Bank that day will help boost the market.

Driven by the good news, Germany's Frankfurt stock market DAX index and the London stock market's "Financial Times" 100 stock average price index also rose that day. The top five stocks in the CAC 40 index on the7th were: France-Italy Semiconductor, Capgemini Management Consulting, Crédit Agricole, BNP Paribas and Hermès.
