For 20 million Russians: Putin recalled the indexation of maternal capital and about 40 more social payments from February 1. Since February 1, more than 40 social payments have been indexed in Russia by 7.4%, recalled the country's President Vladimir Putin.
Benefits for families with children, veterans, people with disabilities and other categories of citizens also increased. The calculation of increased payments has already begun, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection assured. The indexation is designed to compensate Russians for rising consumer prices, says economist and communications director Andrei Loboda.
