FamilyMart and Lawson to jointly transport products in parts of the Tohoku region. FamilyMart has started an initiative to deliver products to stores in some parts of Kanagawa Prefecture by utilizing the delivery network of a major beverage company.
Lawson has also started delivery of bento boxes, sandwiches, etc. The two companies say, ``In order to build a sustainable supply system for convenience stores with stores nationwide, we would like to proceed with consideration of expanding to other areas in the future''
