Corona and wars have cost the German economy a huge sum in four years of crisis. On the other hand, citizens were able to put aside a lot of money. In addition, energy-intensive industries are strongly represented in this country and are particularly sensitive to rising energy costs. The German economy is missing a total of 545 billion euros - if less is spent and invested, the economy suffers.
