The state Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) has paid 3.26 billion rubles to QIWI Bank. The amount is 75% of the bank's liability.

The DIA is acting on behalf of the Central Bank of Russia, which has revoked the license of QiWI Bank on February 21. The bank is accused of transferring funds in favor of illegal financial services. It is alleged that the funds were stolen from a Russian bank. The Central Bank says that the money was transferred to a bank in Russia.
