Daihatsu Motor Corporation has suspended operations at its four automobile factories in Japan since late December 2023 due to issues with fraudulent acquisition of national certification. The government's confirmation tests for its main models, such as the Tanto, continue, and the company has decided to suspend production until at least March 1st.
