Central Bank: At the end of 2023, the custody balance of overseas institutions in China’s bond market was 3.72 trillion yuan. The proportion of market custody balance is 2.4%.
In 2023,. a total of 71.0 trillion yuan of bonds of various types will be issued in the bond market, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%. Among them, 61.4 trillion yuan were issued in. the inter-bank bond market and 9.6 trillion yuan in the exchange market.
