Carlsberg's losses due to the loss of control over Baltika amounted to 47.75 billion crowns. In October 2023, the Russian Ministry of Finance recalled that Baltika was not owned, but only temporarily managed by the Federal Property Management Agency.

Baltika President Taimuraz Bolloev proposed nationalizing the company. Deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev thanked the company for investing in modern Russian weapons and assistance at the front. The Danish Carlsberg Group lost about 624 billion rubles.
