CaixaBank earns 4,816 million in 2023, 53.9% more, driven by the rate increase. Caixa bank is the financial institution with the largest market share in Spain.
The growth of the interest margin, favored by the increase in rates and the management of the commercial network, offset the fall in net commissions, which fell by 5.1%, in line with the sector as a whole. With these results, the entity has proposed to the General Meeting of Shareholders the payment of a cash dividend charged to the 2023 results.
