Vladimir Putin instructed the government to expand the conditions of the Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage program by March 1, 2024. Along with young families, teachers and doctors, SVO participants will now be able to receive preferential loans at 2% per annum.
The maximum loan amount for purchasing housing on the secondary market will be increased from 6 million to 9 million rubles. According to experts, the initiative of the head of state will make mortgages more affordable for military personnel and will help them quickly resolve the housing issue.
