AhorraMas withdraws its baked empanadas from the market because they may contain traces of undeclared fish on the label. As a precautionary measure, people allergic to fish who may have the aforementioned product in their homes are advised to refrain from consuming it.

The consumption of this product does not entail any risk for the rest of the population, as recalled by the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan), according to the food safety agency. The initial distribution has been in stores of the Ahorra mas chain in the autonomous communities of Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha.
