Agriculture Minister Sakamoto invites ambassadors from Southeast Asian countries to Tokyo Toyosu Market to promote marine products. Almost half a year has passed since the release of treated water from TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sakamoto hopes that by promoting Japanese marine products to ambassadors to Japan, they will be able to secure an alternative sales channel to China, which was the largest export destination. China completely suspended imports of Japanese scallops last August.
